Carols By The Beach

The JRT Carols by the Beach will be celebrating 20 years on Sunday 10th December, Yeppoon Beachfront and features an evening of family fun, carols and Christmas variety entertainment.

The program is a jam-packed community showcase of Christmas entertainment and carols featuring entertainers, bands, singing groups, community choirs and dancers (beginning at 5pm).

The Attic Christmas Markets

Come down to the The Attic Espresso Bar on Saturday the 16th between 7am – 11am and browse the range of markets on display. A special guest from the North Pole will make an apperance from 8-11am for pictures.

Rockynats 04

Lovers of horsepower, show cars, burnouts and drifting will experience some of the wildest modified cars in the country at the Rockynats 04 Event.

This iconic event held over Easter weekend set amongst the City’s historic CBD, the Riverfront while framing Mt Archer and the Mighty Fitzroy River a picturesque backdrop for weekend full of adrenaline packed competition and action.  

The program is jam packed with high octane entertainment and a huge off track program of family entertainment across the whole weekend.

Beef Week

Beef Australia exists for the advancement of the Australian beef community and has a vision to be a world-class organisation that promotes, advances, and celebrates a sustainable beef industry.

Join us in Rockhampton between the 5th and 11th of May 2024 for a week-long exhibition and celebration of all facets of the industry, including producers, scientists, chefs, students, exhibitors, and everyone in between.

Yeppoon Running Festival

There is a distance for everyone – run Central Queensland’s only Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km or the 1.6km Family fun run. No matter what fitness level, there’s an option for you!

Ideal running conditions and fast flat road surface makes our courses ideal for anyone chasing a personal best or someone just starting their running journey. Start on the beautiful Yeppoon main beach foreshore, renowned for its stunning sunrises and head out into peaceful green shrubland before you reach the turnaround point and make your way back into Yeppoon where the cheer squads and spectators will be waiting for you in the racing precinct. While you are passing through here be sure to take in the hustle and bustle of the main street, the Kraken and the peaceful ocean views. Once you’re in the finisher chute to collect your well-deserved medal and you can soak up that glorious finish line feeling and atmosphere.

Swim Around Keppel

SAK 2024 will be a two-day event including the signature 20-kilometre circumnavigation marathon swim on day 2. Leading into the signature swim, day 1 festivities will include waterpolo competition, guided bush walks, family scavenger hunt, kayaking, snorkelling and an afternoon concert by local performers.

Spectators will be able to hop off a cruise and watch the swimmers, participate in snorkelling, finish up the family scavenger hunt or participate in a walk to the lighthouse to watch the swimmers.
